Tasting of NZ Sauvignons: M&S Nelson Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Taste: medium body, nice texture, lime, austere profile, white grapefruit, hint of stony character, longer finish

This is more European style, quite mineral and flinty, one could say more complex and a I love the pine needles element in the nose, quite gentle, not obtrusive, but very nicely drinkable. This is the wine, which at first sip would not thrill but would manage to keep you engage all the time without any boredom over time.
