Wine appellation: Maipo valley
Vintage: 2003
Alcohol content: 13.5%
Color: deep garnet red with bricky meniscus
Bouquet: intense, black currant jam, coffee, toast, touch of vanilla
Taste: medium body, very nice structure, black currant jam accompanied by black chocolate, toast and coffee, still nice rounded tannins, medium to longer finish
Recommended food pairing: steak
Overall score: 4+8+12+7+8=89
Price: CZK 299 in 2005
Stopper: single piece cork
3rd bottle tasted. This is the taste that I very much like, looking at my notes from March 2012 the wine is more bottle aged and is peaking. One more bottle in the cellar will be drank for sure by the end of the year.
